Never practise alone.

The clinicians who keep growing are the ones who keep showing up to a group. Bring a case every fortnight, stay sharp, build a community and steadily clock the peer-consultation hours the Board already expects of you.

The long game

Growth happens in the months after the training.

A standing fortnightly group keeps the framework alive in your practice and means you’re never stuck with a hard case on your own.

Your CPD, made simple

The hours the Board already expects - handled, fortnightly.

Every year of general registration, the Psychology Board of Australia asks for 30 hours of CPD, a learning plan based on self-assessment, and a portfolio with written reflection. Of those 30 hours, at least 10 must be peer consultation and that's the part most clinicians leave to chance.

Structured group consultation in this membership

The Board defines peer consultation as supervision or consultation - individual or group - with a critically reflective focus on your own practice. A standing fortnightly group is built to do exactly that.

Each session, you bring a de-identified case. The time focused on your own practice counts toward your peer-consultation hours; time spent on colleagues' cases can count as general CPD. Either way, you leave with a record for your portfolio and you stop scrambling for these hours at renewal.

!

CPD here counts toward your CPD and peer-consultation hours - always confirm against your own learning plan and registration requirements. The Board's CPD and recency standards are under review, with public consultation open until 17 July 2026, so requirements may change. We're board-approved supervisors, not your registration body; final responsibility for what you log rests with you.
